Maintenance Technician
Addus Homecare is searching for a Maintenance Technician.
This ideal candidate will maintain the branch facilities to the highest standards and supervise contractors and vendors for proper maintenance and repairs.
Additionally, the Maintenance Technician will be expected to perform a wide variety of skilled and semiskilled building maintenance and repair tasks.
Barrington, IL with travel throughout Chicagoland area.
Monday- Friday 8am-5pm AND on-call hours 2 weeks per month, including weekends.

branch facilities in the Chicagoland area as needed and directed by the Facilities Manager.
Regularly inspects the facility to determine maintenance and repair needs and report to the Facilities Manager and Landlord based on responsibility.
Performance maintenance and mechanical duties for assigned buildings and related facilities, furnishing, and equipment.
The required duties may include painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry, furniture, and fixture placement, hanging and repairs, landscape maintenance, and related work.
Estimates material, labor, and time needed for projects and operates light automotive equipment to travel to facilities and to transport materials, furniture, and equipment.
Performs some administrative duties such as creating company badges, mail-room functions, etc.
Work off-hours on an on-call basis to resolve facility emergencies to maintain 24/7/365 availability.
Position At least one year of experience at a journey level in a building trade such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry, cement work, and electrical work, or a combination of training, education, and experience that is equivalent.
