The Customer Service Representative for Leica Biosystems is responsible providing customer support, handling incoming orders, verifying customer purchase order accuracy, confirming purchase orders with customers, resolve discrepancies, and providing technical support.
This position is part of the Leica Biosystems Customer Support - Multifunctional located in Deer Park, IL and will be a hybrid position.

You will be a part of the Customer Support team and report to the Manager Customer Service.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Process daily orders received through multiple channels (phone, email, fax, EDI) Professionally handle incoming requests through multiple channels (phone, email, fax,) from external and internal customers and ensure that issues are resolved both promptly and thoroughly by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution according to current processes.
Responsible for daily management which includes reviewing the status of all open orders, RGA's and insuring timely resolution.
Working all reports including GIT, blocked and incomplete order tracking to ensure deliveries are not delayed to the customer.
The essential requirements of the job include:
High school diploma or equivalent Proven track record of using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) along with SAP software experience It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Associates Degree preferred 2-5 years' Customer Service/Order Entry experience preferred At Leica Biosystems we believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce.
